my trip + beach
So, you may or may not know, I have recently went to a different city to do work experience as part of my module. It was certainly an interesting experience, although it really felt like I was working for a tabloid, even though this was a new agency, so there wasn't a clear bias but we still had to cater to that cuz we had to try and sell our articles to such papers ;-;
However, despite having a rather boring time there, I did meet someone from my placement, who had similar interests as me and she invited me to go to the beach with her and dinner too, on our last days on our placement there. we talked about many things from books, to politics to even our crushes.
She honestly was such an interesting person to talk to fr despite us coming from hugely different backgrounds eg she came from quite a well off family and me, not so much lmaoo. I felt like we had so much in common even if we came from different parts of the world.
We also talked about how we was so disatisfied with our placements and how it could be so much better and just laughing about how utter dogshit our articles were for those publications.
But at least I got free beer from it, so I guess it could be worse?
Even though I prob won't miss the city I was in and the placement, I deffo would miss talking to my work placement colleague though, since I doubt we would meet again but who knows.
Maybe we will?
